DIRECTIONS
If coming from the Fairbanks: Approximately 2.5 miles before the junction to Anchorage there is a blue lodging sign on the highway "Fox ' Fireweed" Turn Left onto Sundog trail. Drive down Sundog trail approximately a 1/4 mile where you will see a Fox 'n Fireweed sign mounted on a telephone pole turn left and continue up the driveway past the cabins to the main house for check in.
If coming from Anchorage or Canada: From the Tok Center head towards Fairbanks along the Ak Highway approximately 2.5-3 out you will see a a blue lodging sign on the highway "Fox 'n Fireweed" Turn Right onto Sundog trail. Drive down Sundog trail approximately a 1/3 mile where you will see a Fox 'n Fireweed sign turn left and continue up the driveway past the cabins to the main house for check in.
LODGING POLICIES
Fox 'nFireweed cabins is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 48 hours prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. Our base rate is one adult and charges incur for every additional person over eleven years of age.
In the unlikely event that you must cancel with us with a less than 48 hour notice, shorten your stay, or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made. In the event of a pandemic or government shutdown, where forces outside our control prohibit your stay, you will receive a voucher for the amount of your reservation. The voucher is good for 2 years or whatever state or local laws require.
Check-in:3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please in call in advance to make arrangements. An addition email or text should arrive with instructions for checking in- no contact or low contact and a self checkout.
Check-out: 10:30 am unless previous arrangements have been made.
Absolutely No Smoking Inside. If you would like to smoke please do so outside and away from other guests; dispose of cigarette butts in a responsible manner. A $200 cleaning fee will apply should you choose to smoke inside.
Pets: Up to three pets are welcome with a twenty-five dollar pet fee for cleaning. Please don't leave your pets unattended in the cabins, you will be held responsible for your furry friend and any damage or cleaning in regards to them. We would appreciate if you use a leash when walking your Fido, for their safety as well as other guests' comfort. Bags for picking up after your pet will be provided upon request. Additional charges may apply if damage is caused in excess of the twenty-five dollar fee.
Children: Children under the age of eleven stay free. Children twelve and over are considered as an additional adult in the reservations page. As a family run business, we are a family friendly establishment and welcome kids to enjoy the basket ball court, sprinklers, and bikes. We also have books and toys upon request!
GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICIES
Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver's license. Gift certificates are transferable. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used at a later day up to the expiration date. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.
Fire pit and BBQ use: a fire pit and BBQ are available for guest use. Under certain dry conditions use may be restricted due to forest fire concerns.
Discounts: we support those who serve and offer a 10% discount to active military members. We also offer a 10% discount to Alaskan Residences, and a 5% percent discount for multiple night stays. For discounts, reservations must be made via our personal website or phone.
